Development Update - December 2011

The scaffolding surrounding Hackworth Point is being taken downCampbell Road

Countryside Properties have completed five out of the seven blocks of flats being built along Campbell Road. Residents are beginning to move in, so you may have noticed a lot of activity around the new development.

The remaining two blocks are due to be completed at the end of February 2012 and the external communal areas will then be landscaped.

Hackworth Point

The scaffolding surrounding Hackworth Point is being taken down. The works to the outside of the tower are progressing well and once each section has been completed, the scaffolding is then removed. Each tower block has it’s own colour scheme. Priestman Point’s is yellow and Hackworth Point’s new colour is Lilac.

Decoration works inside the tower are on schedule and we are pleased with the quality of the finish. We hope residents will also like their new homes when they move in, which is planned for July next year.

Local talent winner targets Britain

Sabrina, winner of Bow’s Got TalentSinger Sabrina, 12, winner of Bow’s Got Talent, will be auditioning for Britain’s Got Talent this December.
Sabrina first showed star potential in front of Bow Cross locals at the Bow Cross Fun Day in September, where she stole the judges hearts with Mariah Carey’s classic, ‘Hero’.

We wish her the best of luck and hope that she takes Britain by storm, as she did at the local fun day.
